Develop our electronics and maintenance offers

RS brandedEnsuring we have the right product offering is key to our success. In practical terms, this means having the most comprehensive electronics and maintenance product range available to all customers on a global basis.

In support of this objective, we are adding 5,000 new products per month to our portfolio sourced from leading suppliers. Our global range comprises over 550,000 products ranging from semiconductors and optoelectronics, PLCs and sensors, to power tools and protective clothing.

Our maintenance portfolio is a key differentiator between us and our competitors. We are the global high service distributor with the broadest range of electrical, automation and control, test and measurement, and tools, safety and consumable products.

We recognise that technology facilitates a better relationship with our customers and in particular with our electronics customers. Recent developments now allow them to view over 30,000 3D CAD models online. DesignSpark, our online gateway for resources for electronics engineers, now has more than 50,000 members registered, while DesignSpark PCB, our free online design tool which provides the ability to design circuit boards and model different product combinations, has recorded more than 100,000 downloads since its launch.
